Brellium's Filters Overview
Brellium's filters allows you to organize and track your audit notes in an efficient way. In this guide, we'll go through how to use these filters.
There are 13 possible types of filters that you can apply to organize your data:
Question set
Question
Audit Date
Score Range
Review Status
Reviewed By
Audit Flags
BCBA
Client
Provider
Date of Service
Code
State
Let's take a look at each one.
Question Set
The first option you will see is to filter by question set. This is particularly useful if you only want to look at audits for a certain type of document. For example, if you only want to see 97153 notes, you can set the question set to 97153.
Once a question set is selected, there is a optional option of allowing you to choose a specific question within that question set. If a question is selected, then you will also optionally be prompted to select the flag associated with that question, usually pass, fail, or N/A.
If no flags are selected, this filter will show you all of the audits where this question was being asked.
If one or more of the flags are selected, then this filter will show you all of the audits where this question was being asked AND fulfills the question flags.
Audit Date
The second option you will see is to filter by audit date.
As you can see, there are a couple of quick options, ranging from "Yesterday" to "Last Month". For a more customizable experience, you can also use the two date boxes above these questions.
To filter by audits ON OR AFTER a certain date, select and fill out the date in the left date box. For example, for any audits on or after 6/29/2025, the left date box should say 06/29/2025.
To filter by audits strictly AFTER a certain date, select and fill out the date in the left date box plus 1 day. For example, for any audits after 6/29/2025, the left date box should say 06/30/2025.
To filter by audits ON OR BEFORE a certain date, select and fill out the date in the right date box. For example, for any audits on or before 6/29/2025, the right date box should say 06/29/2025.
To filter by audits strictly BEFORE a certain date, select and fill out the date in the right date box minus 1 day. For example, for any audits before 6/29/2025, the right date box should say 06/28/2025.
To filter by audits ON OR BETWEEN two dates, select and fill out the earlier date in the left date box and the later date in the right date box. For example, for all audits on or between 6/1/2025 and 6/30/2025, the left date box should say 06/01/2025 and the right date box should say 06/30/2025.
To filter by audits strictly BETWEEN two dates, select and fill out the earlier date in the left date box plus 1 day and the later date minus 1 day in the right date box. For example, for all audits between 6/1/2025 and 6/30/2025, the left date box should say 06/02/2025 and the right date box should say 06/29/2025.
Score Range
This is the third option you can filter by. This allows you to filter by the percentage score that an audit has received. If you are interested in changing the impact each question has on the score, refer to this article:
To filter by audits that have received AT LEAST BUT INCLUDING a score, set the lower bound to that score. For example, if you want to only see audits that have a score of at least 85%, then the lower bound should say 85.
To filter by audits that have received strictly ABOVE a certain score, set the lower bound to a value above, but as close to that score as possible. For example, if you only want to see audits that have a score of above 85%, then you can set the lower bound to 85.0001.
To filter by audits that have received AT MOST BUT INCLUDING a score, set the upper bound to that score. For example, if you want to only see audits that have a score of at most, but including 95%, then the upper bound should say 95.
To filter by audits that have received strictly BELOW a score, set the upper bound to a value that is below, but as close as possible to that score. For example, if you want to only see audits that have a score of under 95%, then the upper bound can say 94.9999.
To filter by audits BETWEEN BUT INCLUDING two scores, you can set the lower bound to the lower score and the upper bound to the higher score.
To filter by audits strictly BETWEEN two scores, set the lower bound to above by as close to the lower score as possible, and set the upper bound to below, but as close to the higher score as possible. To get scores between 60 and 70, for example, set the lower bound to 60.001 and the upper bound to 69.999.
Review Status
This is the fourth filtering option. You can see all of the notes that were reviewed by only selecting "Reviewed". You can see all of the notes that were not reviewed by only selecting "Not Reviewed".
To see all notes regardless of whether or not they have been reviewed or not reviewed, you can leave both selections blank or select both. We recommend just leaving them blank in that condition for clarity purposes.
Reviewed By
There are two modes for this filter.
People Mode
The first is below, selecting members who have the permissions to review audits in your organization. This is toggled simply when Letter Range Mode is OFF.
In this mode, you can filter your notes by who reviewed them. Note that this is conditional on a person selecting "Mark Reviewed" after reviewing an audit. Simply viewing the audit without marking it reviewed will not categorize that note under this filter.
Letter Range Mode
The second mode, Letter Range Mode, is shown below. This is toggled when Letter Range Mode is set to ON.
In this mode, you can set the letter range (based on email) for reviewers of audits. This range is inclusive, meaning that having 'A' on the left side includes emails starting with 'A' and having 'Z' on the right side includes emails starting with 'Z'. Like the people mode, note that this is conditional on a person selecting "Mark Reviewed" after reviewing an audit.
Audit Flags
This is one of the most useful filters that you can use. You can filter notes by which flags are attached to each note. This is extremely useful when, for example, you want to find all the notes that have failed.
You'll notice two options: "Include Audit Flags" and "Exclude Audit Flags". Here you can select the audit flags that you want included or excluding in the notes that you are filtering. A great use case here, as mentioned above, would be including the "Failed" audit flag so you can see all notes that have failed the audit.
To add more audit flags, refer to this article: 📄 Question Flags and Audit Flags for ABA
BCBA
Using this filter, you can filter by your BCBA (Board Certified Behavioral Analyst). Similar to the "Reviewed By" filter, there are two different modes.
People Mode
In this mode, you can select individual BCBAs who have completed their session notes. This is toggled simply when Letter Range Mode is OFF.
Letter Range Mode
In this mode, you can set the letter range (based on name) for BCBAs. This range is inclusive, meaning that having 'A' on the left side includes names starting with 'A' and having 'Z' on the right side includes names starting with 'Z'.
Client
Using this filter, you can filter audits by client name, with two modes as well.

Date of Service
This filter allows you to filter by the date of service for the session.
Note that this is not the date when the note was audited, but date when the session was completed.
As you can see, there are a couple of quick options, ranging from "Yesterday" to "Last Month". For a more customizable experience, you can also use the two date boxes above these questions.
To filter by sessions ON OR AFTER a certain date, select and fill out the date in the left date box. For example, for any sessions on or after 6/29/2025, the left date box should say 06/29/2025.
To filter by sessions strictly AFTER a certain date, select and fill out the date in the left date box plus 1 day. For example, for any sessions after 6/29/2025, the left date box should say 06/30/2025.
To filter by sessions ON OR BEFORE a certain date, select and fill out the date in the right date box. For example, for any sessions on or before 6/29/2025, the right date box should say 06/29/2025.
To filter by sessions strictly BEFORE a certain date, select and fill out the date in the right date box minus 1 day. For example, for any sessions before 6/29/2025, the right date box should say 06/28/2025.
To filter by sessions ON OR BETWEEN two dates, select and fill out the earlier date in the left date box and the later date in the right date box. For example, for all sessions on or between 6/1/2025 and 6/30/2025, the left date box should say 06/01/2025 and the right date box should say 06/30/2025.
To filter by sessions strictly BETWEEN two dates, select and fill out the earlier date in the left date box plus 1 day and the later date minus 1 day in the right date box. For example, for all sessions between 6/1/2025 and 6/30/2025, the left date box should say 06/02/2025 and the right date box should say 06/29/2025.
Code
This filter allows you to filter by your documentation code. Here, you can select the different codes that you want to be able to see.
State
This filter allows you to filter your notes by state. Different states have different billing requirements, so this is particularly useful if you want to look at notes in a state that may have more strict requirements.
